  • As of August 11, 2008, The Ritz-Carlton assumed management of the St. Regis, Fort Lauderdale.   • The Westin Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale has re-opened after completing the first phase of a multi-million dollar extensive rebirth. The resort's 433 spacious guestrooms and suites have been designed to restore mind and body in a prime oceanfront setting. The new resort provides more than 32,000 square feet of flexible event space, including a 10,192-square-foot ballroom for groups of up to 1,053 people, a second ballroom slightly smaller at 8,376 square feet accommodating 842 people, and the Sunrise Terrace with more than 5,500 square feet of space and inspiring Atlantic views.
