GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - September 14, 2009 - If the third time's a charm, then Greater Fort Lauderdale is going all out to make certain that its third annual Dine Out Lauderdale is a culinary tribute to the best of South Florida dining. From October 1 - November 12, 2009, three-course menus at 35 local restaurants offer diners delectable meals at the destination's newest and most exciting restaurants headed up by such culinary heavyweights and popular local chefs as Todd English, Jeffrey Chodorow, Johnny Vinczencz and Carlos Fernandez.
As part of this ode to the taste bud, the offerings at each participating Dine Out Lauderdale restaurant will feature an appetizer, entree and dessert for the fixed price of $35 (tax and gratuity not included), Sundays through Thursdays (some exceptions).
"Dine Out Lauderdale showcases our diverse and eclectic dining scene from the trendy eateries of Las Olas Boulevard to the dock and dine spots along the Intracoastal Waterway," said Nicki E Grossman, president of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. "The program has become a popular addition to our fall lineup of events and activities. Dine Out is a way to enjoy great food, sample signature dishes and put your diet on a vacation."
