Good morning blog fans, I’m reporting live from the Super Bowl XLI Media Center in sunny South Florida and I must say it’s been quite a week to be a football fan. I’ve been here all week and I’ve seen and done some pretty amazing things. Sports legends and media greats have been showing up in hoards to the Media Center to bask in front of the camera or do a radio interview. Bears fans listen up: yesterday I brushed shoulders with Jim McMahon and Mike Ditka and today I sat in on a press conference with Coach Lovey Smith. I have to admit that I’ve been a little star struck. Here, you don’t have to look very hard to find an NFL great (and his entourage). Stars like Reggie Bush, Emmett Smith and Dan Marino stroll through the halls being followed by hoards of reporters and star gazers hoping to score an autograph. It’s been hard not to chase them down myself and ask for pictures and signatures; it’s not every day that I get to do this type of thing. I hate to go but I have to cut this session short because I am writing this from the e-mail station intended to be used by members of the media and a line is starting to form behind me.
