Feb 5: Super Bowl, the morning after
Hello members of the sports legion. I trust you have dried off, sobered up, and digested enough Super Bowl food to concentrate on the topic at hand. Yes, I know it rained but that was planned by the rain gods. How could Prince’s Purple Rain jam reach epic proportions without a little help from Mother Nature? I would like to boldly suggest that the rain made Super Bowl XLI one of the more exciting Super Bowls I’ve seen. I have watched “many a game” and have never seen back-to-back turnovers times’ deuce. And sorry about the gut shot Bears, but Grossman would have thrown those interceptions on a 75 degree sunny day.

An even more pertinent matter is that my fellow Midwesterners are human popsicles, and would surely take a rainy South Florida day over temperatures in the negative degrees. In fact, they’re almost as stiff as the Bear’s offense was last night. Forget all of your toil and troubles, escape Jack Frost’s harsh bite. Can you truly celebrate a Colt’s Super Bowl victory in Antarctica? The answer is no my friends. Walk the beaches and stay in The Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale as the Colts did before their Super Bowl victory. Eat the same cuisine that the team had catered to them in the Fort Lauderdale area by top-notch restaurants. You see, a post Super Bowl victory is still in our grasp Colts fans. Not all of us were able to go to the big game to see Colts history, but we can still live like they did Super Bowl week!
