"I was able to go see Butterfly World again and it was a magical time for me. My nine-month daughter also got to see butterflies for the first time. She loved it and was delighted when she saw the birds. Together, we also explored the Bonnet House. My daughter gazed longingly at everything. I don't know if that was such a good thing around the china plates, but it was a day that we won't forget."

"Hello and thanks again for everything, we had a great time and learned alot about the Ft. Lauderdale area and I am also telling everyone about our visit to help promote the attractions there. I enjoyed our stay at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. My son loved the swimming pool. There was also a wonderful band playing in the hotel lobbey. I had a great time at the casino. All the restaurants that we dined in had great food as well. The Winterfest Boat Parade was so much fun and the Nutcracker Ballet was simply beautiful. Thank you so much for the opportunity to travel to this wonderful destination we will be back!"

That was the most enjoyable place I have ever stayed at and I do hope and wish that we will be doing more work down there and I hope that I will have the opportunity to stay there again. "My family has owned an apartment in Fort Lauderdale for almost 30 years. We like to vacation there as much as possible! It is the most enjoyable place I've ever visited. It's funny because being here in Ohio, I almost feel homesick for Fort Lauderdale, and it's not even my home! Wish we could move there. Our absolute favorite restaurant is The Southport Raw Bar. Great food, friendly staff, and a really nice patio. Fort Lauderdale rules!"

"I recently went on a cruise with my grown daughter and teenage son and then to lovely Fort Lauderdale. We expected traffic jams, busy people and crowded spaces. Although road construction along Interstate 95 posed a slight decrease in the speed limit, travel in and around the city was not all that congested. Drivers were polite and forgiving of our apparent lack of direction. From bellhops to gas station attendants, merchants and businessmen, the public treated us well. Even the seventh-grade school teacher seated next to me on the flight leaving Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was as kind as they come.

The restaurants and shopping is so diverse there is always a new place to see, eat or shop. There seems to be something for everyone. We like to cruise out of that area as well. "My husband and I visit Ft. Lauderdale now....every July and have for the past 4 years. Ever since our first time there...we are hooked! We cannot say enough about your area and if I had a dollar for every time I recommended your area, I could move there! I believe this photo was taken from the small step out balcony at Bahia Mar. That’s another thing, speaking of which, there is nothing more serene than stepping out on a beach balcony at sunrise, which I set my alarm purposely for that very reason, and having coffee with the sunrise."

It was fun standing in the line to get into the arena and chatting with other fans from all over! (We were actually in line in front of actress Patricia Neal's son and duaghter-in-law!) The suite at the hotel was beautiful and most confortable and although it rained on the day of the concert, we didn't mind because we were in such a lovely hotel.
