Awesome, awesome, awesome! Teehee. That was for my dorky brother, Spencer. He thinks I say awesome too much. Maybe I do but this really was awesome! I mean our awesome vacation on the Fort Lauderdale beach. At a hotel like only 5 mins from home.
But you know what else is “awesome”? My BFF, Isabella, is back to help me right a new blog about our vacation. Which is over now but was totally too much fun. So we’re going to tell you about it. Here she is, ok?
Isabella: Hi, everyone! It’s great to be back in the blogosphere. But, uhm, I think you mean we’re going to “write” a new blog, Juliette. Haha! Too funny! But it’s no biggie because you were just typing really too fast. Isan't that write, J? Uhm I mean, “right!” Haha again!
Juliette: OOPS!! Well, you’re the one who wants to be some big writer when you grow up, not me. :) Ok, it’s your turn to “right” now. All our blog lover will be happy to see you again. It’s been a whole year almost!!
Isabella: I read Spencer’s blog from last week and all I can say is, well, he’s still Juliette’s dorky younger brother. Even if he is “really old” because he’s 11 now! First, we didn’t really leave him alone for very long. Juliette and her mom and I went shopping on the Fort Lauderdale beach – for one hour. Not that long, right?
Juliette: Right! Spencer really is dorky! He doesn’t even want to write his own blog this week. That’s why Isabella and I are doing it for him. See what I mean? Dorky!
Isabella: Yes, well anyway, as I was saying, Spencer also was writing that I’m in love or something. How silly because I’m not. But yes, Juliette and I were hanging around with some older boys we met. They were really nice. They’re still in Fort Lauderdale. Jack and his best friend, Brad. They’re both from New York and will stay here until August when they go back to school. I enjoy them a lot, but I’m not in “love,” Spencer! Please!! I’m 14-years-old now and I’m too smart to just fall in love that way at this age.
Juliette: Wow Isabella, you seem like so grown up sometimes now. And you are more gorgeous than ever. Wish you could see her, blog lovers. Jack was totally dying to meet her so that’s why we met Jack and Brad. I think Isabella even writes her blog different than last year and everything. She’s gonna be a famous writer, for sure. I can’t wait til I’m 14 too and then I’ll seem more grown up maybe too.
Isabella: You’re only a few months behind me, girl! And you're totally gorgeous too!! But yes, I believe I would like to be a famous writer when I grow up. The funny thing is that blogging last summer made me know how much I love to write. So it’s so nice to blog again now, even if I’m only doing it to help Juliette. Who really is my BFF, for sure!
Juliette: Staying on the beach was so totally cool, wasn’t it Isabella? Hanging at the ocean and swimming with Jack and Brad and shopping. And staying in that super cool hotel!
Isabella: I’m so glad your mom wanted me to come with you, Juliette. I had a wonderful time. Thank you. It was our own “staycation.” That’s what they call it. I read about “staycations” in the newspaper. It just means that you go on a “vacation” where you “stay” somewhere near your home. See why they call it a “staycation”?
Juliette: I have an idea, Isabella. Why don’t we do one more blog about our “staycation” next week? Spencer won’t mind. I think he’s like already totally tired of writing a blog every week. But I think it’s kinda fun. Sometimes. So if you’ll help me again, Isabella … Ok???
Isabella: Sure! It’s fun to blog again. So maybe we should save our best story about the “staycation” for next week, all right, Juliette? You know the one I mean, right?
Juliette: About our great boat ride with Jack and Brad, right? All alone, just us and the boat driver guy. Ok, next week for sure! Come back then, blog lovers, and we’ll tell you all about it. I mean we’ll “right” all about it. Teehee!
Isabella: Hahaha! See you then, blog friends! You won’t want to miss next week’s really romantic story about a very special afternoon with two great guys!! Until next time, bye for now!!
