Mom says this is my last blog. I am not happy! :-{

OK, so this is Spencer again but you know me now and everything, right? So I don’t even have to tell you my name again but I did anyway. So I’m back in school now. I’m almost 12 now and school is hard this year. I even have more home work and stuff like that. I wish I could just have fun and blog and everything else like that all the time. But I can’t. I have to go to school.

But remember all the fun stuff I did this summer? We went to that Flamingo Gardens place and there were peacocks and snakes and big old cool birds with awesome claws. I really liked that place. I liked lots of other places too this summer. Until my sister, Juliette, and her dorky BFF started writing my blog. They blogged about stupid stuff like boys and boat rides with boys and kissing boys and goofy stupid stuff. I didn’t like that. So now they can’t write in my blog anymore. LOL!

But guess what? I’m not happy because I can’t write in my blog anymore either. Mom says I have too much school work and I play soccer too and everything else. “You can blog again next summer!” Mom told me that today. Summer is a long time from now.

But I still remember going to that totally cool hotel on the beach for like 10 days or whatever. And we went to the beach a lot and went for a ride on that Sun Trolley thing and saw fireworks on the beach too. It was pretty great.

And you know what else too? Remember me and Mom went on that Jungle Queen boat too? And my sister came too but I wish she didn’t. But it was ok cause we had lots of fun. I really liked the alligator wrestling and everything like that, right? I loved that part the best.

Except when me and Mom went to that Ritz hotel place and that was really the best part. So that was my summer and I hope you liked it and everything. Cause I liked it a lot! I wish it was still summer and no school!!

School’s ok really sometimes. But then sometimes it’s not and I wish it was summer and I could still blog for you about cool things to do in Fort Lauderdale. This place is the best place to live and I think it would be fun to visit here too. I don’t know for sure cause I live here. But it really is like totally awesome here. Really!

So that is my blog by Spencer. Sometimes a blog by Juliette too and her stupid BFF. But really it’s my blog and you can read it any time you want right here, ok? Even if I can’t write any more blogs for you but I wish I could. Cause then I could still do more totally fun things around Fort Lauderdale. I like doing fun things like that. That’s lots better than going to school. But I can't now cause Mom makes me go to school, right? Cause I’m still just a kid but I wish I was all grown up! Then I could write blogs whenever I want!! BFN!!!

Hi, it’s me again and I don’t even know what to say. This is Spencer again. But I don’t know what to say cause this was maybe the coolest thing all summer. I mean really. I’m not kidding you now.

Mom took me to this totally fancy place. Just me and her. No dorky sister and no dorky BFF or anything else. Here’s how it happened.

Mom says to me that she wants to take me out for something special. School was starting again this week and everything like that. :-( I wish it was still summer but it’s not. I have to go to school. So then Mom is like, “We’ll go out to this nice place. We’ll get all dressed up, ok?” Or something like that. I don’t remember for sure. But she said something like that anyway.

So we get all dressed up just like she says before. Mom looks so totally beautiful too. Mom was wearing this cool black dress and she had on those big tall shoes and I look at her then. I just go, “Wow! Mom you look so great!” Cause it was true! And I even put on this jacket and even a tie too. I don’t like wearing a tie cause I almost can’t even breathe but I didn’t mind this time cause Mom looked so great.

Then this is what we did next. We went to this hotel on the beach but not the same hotel as before. Remember those blogs about staying on the beach in Fort Lauderdale and everything like that? This wasn’t that hotel. This hotel is a different hotel with a funny name. It’s just called the Ritz. Ok, ok, Mom! She’s standing behind me and reading my blog again as I write this blog now. Mom says it’s called the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Whatever!

It is huge and totally awesome! It has this big place where you sit and you can just talk and sit there and have special stuff to drink and all that. I had something special to drink with all these fruit juices and this big cherry in it. It was SO great! I had two of those. Mom had something else but I’m not sure what it was. No, Mom, I don’t want to know what it was. So please stop reading my blog now, ok, Mom?

Anyway so then we just sit in this place and you know why I like this place so much? I feel really grown-up there and no one treats me like a kid. This really nice lady gives us something to drink and we eat potato chips and nuts and things like that with it. And she called me sir and says I look really good all dressed up. I like that when she talks to me and calls me sir too.

So anyway there is this huge painting on the wall at this Ritz place where me and Mom went. It’s got the ocean and sky and really cool horses and stuff too, ok? The painting is so beautiful but not as beautiful as my mom looked. So we had so much fun and so I told you I wanted to do something cool again this week. And so we did something totally cool. Thanks, Mom! My mom is the best and I hope you have a nice mom or something like that too. Then maybe you can go to this Ritz place and the nice lady will call you sir too. Unless you’re a girl. ROFL! BFN!

Aug 14: Alligator Wrestling

I didn’t know how to spell that word. Wrestling. But my spell check knows how so I just learned. That was the best part about my ride on the Jungle Queen. Alligator wrestling. I told you I’d write a blog about the Jungle Queen, remember? So I’m doing that now and it really was awesome! Mom told me it would be. She was right.

So it was just me and Mom. And Juliette, my dorky sister. I’m saying she’s dorky in my blog now. She always says I’m dorky, right? But this is my blog. So now I’m saying she’s dorky even if I never say that word usually. She is dorky too! :-)

Anyway we took a ride on the Jungle Queen. You know what that is cause I told you in my blog last week. It’s this big boat that goes down the jungly rivers around Fort Lauderdale. It was hot outside but we sat on the boat and then there was some wind. It was cool on the river cause there was wind. This guy was talking and telling us about all the really rich guys who live along the river with big huge houses and big huge boats and everything else. Totally cool! I wish I could live there!

So we ride a long time on the boat and then we go to this place. The guy who was talking called it some name. But I forget the name. Anyway I loved this place! There were all these birds and monkeys and stuff. Oh I forgot to tell you we got off the boat at this place. It was the best part too when we got off the boat.

The best part happened when there was this guy who sits down on this totally huge monster alligator! He starts brushing the alligator’s back with a brush just like the alligator was a dog or something like that. Then he grabs another alligator by the tail. This is like such a huge alligator too but not as huge as the other alligator. Then he makes the alligator open his mouth and it’s all ugly and lots of big teeth in there! Ok so then you know what this guy does next? You won’t believe what he does next!

He sticks his hand in the alligator’s mouth and the alligator tries to bite it off! No I’m not kidding you now either. I saw it and this guy almost was alligator food and everything. Then he grabs the alligator by the tail again and that’s why they call it wrestling just like wrestling on TV. But this is with alligators. You should see it! I never saw anything like this before and I’m almost 12 now almost.

Ok so then we have to leave even if I didn’t want to leave. It was like a jungle in this place off the boat and there were monkeys and birds too. Ok, I think I told you that before but the monkeys and birds were so cool too! Then we just ride on this big old Jungle Queen boat back to our car and everything else. I had lots of fun doing this stuff.

Thank you, Mom! She always takes me places and Juliette too and sometimes Juliette’s “BFF” even if I wish my sister’s “BFF” would stay home. But it’s fun to go places around Fort Lauderdale. There’s so much to do and I like going places around here. A lot! So next week I’ll do another blog about something. I’m not sure what. Maybe Mom will take me somewhere totally cool again. I hope so cause then I’ll have something cool to blog about! LOL! TTYL!

Aug 12: Queen of the Jungle

Ok, so this is Spencer again. I’m taking my blog back, ok? Cause it was too totally GROSS last week!! I don’t want to read about some stupid friend of my sister kissing and stuff!! Do you? No! No one likes stuff like that. So I’m taking my blog back.

Cause you know why else? Cause there’s more cool stuff to blog about. Lots better things than stupid boat rides with boys and everything, ya know? And cause you know why else? Mom is taking me on the Jungle Queen next week, that’s why. But my stupid old sister is coming too. Juliette is my sister, remember? She and her “BFF” did that stupid blog last week and everything, right? But that friend can’t come on the Jungle Queen with us cause Mom didn’t ask her! And I don’t even want to say that friend’s name in this blog!! Because I don't even like that friend anymore or anything else, ok?

Ok, so I’m going to write this blog to tell you about the Jungle Queen. Even though I haven’t been on the Jungle Queen yet. But that’s ok. Cause I’ll tell you about it anyway. LOL!

This is like this totally huge big old boat. And we all get on this boat and it has a top place to sit outside. And it has a bottom place to sit inside and everything. But that’s not the coolest part of this Queen of the Jungle. Cause it rides up and down the jungly rivers around Fort Lauderdale and they are filled with alligators and crocodiles and everything. Ok, not really! But there’s like fish and turtles and crabs and all that, ok? Cause I’ve seen all them in the rivers but I haven’t seen an alligator or crocodiles in the river. I was just kidding about that.

But I don’t know what else you do on the Jungle Queen yet. But I’ll tell you about the Jungle Queen next week cause then I will be on it and everything.

And no you can’t say something on my blog, Juliette! Why do I have to have an older sister??? I don’t like having an older sister sometimes. :-(

Cause an older sister always has her “BFF” hanging around and they do stuff and don’t like me around anyway and they are totally a total pain to be around! So now Juliette wants to write something in my blog again. But NO! She can’t!! “Teehee,” like she says and all that other stupid stuff she writes in the blog. And I don’t think her “BFF” is so great at writing blogs and everything anyway!

Ok, so anyway I’m going to end this blog now cause I don’t know what else to say. But Mom says the Jungle Queen is “really awesome!” That’s how my mom talks when she is trying to sound like me and Juliette but she really isn’t a kid anyway. But that’s ok cause I love her anyway and now we’re going on the Jungle Queen and everything like that. So I’ll tell you all about that next week. BFN! And BFN to Juliette too! She can’t EVER write in my blog again! Cause I changed the password!!! Teehee!!!!

Aug 7: In the Deep Blue Sea

I’m back blog readers! It’s me Isabella and I have another story to tell you about my life in Fort Lauderdale beach. It’s about me, Juliette, Spencer, Brad, and Jack going snorkeling. We were staying in the same hotel and we were thinking about doing something fun. We were laughing and then Jack picked up a book and said ”Look this could be fun.” I saw the picture. It was of a family snorkeling and said ”In the Deep Blue Sea.” I was like “Jack! That’s a great idea!" So we went the next week. We were figuring that Spencer would want to be out of the water, so we put him on a boogieboard with a plastic looking glass at the place were your head’s supposed to go so that way he could look down. While we were leaving Spencer said ”You look hot in a bathing suit.” I just rolled my eyes and kept on walking. We finally reached the foamy waves. I was nervous but Jack said that he would be there to protect me and then we were off! I saw sooo many things. We took a breath after a while and Spencer got scared that there was going to be a shark. Juliette was like “There’s no sharks little bro.” Spencer then looked at Jack “You know I'm starting to look like you.” Then he looked at me and said “I’ll protect you.“ That’s so sweet of him. Maybe he’s not so bad after all. Then Juliette said, ”You guys let’s just get back under.” Then we dove back under. We saw a trigger fish, some coral and a school of fish as colorful as a rainbow. Juliette started to move away from them, but Brad grabbed her arms and started to hug her. How romantic? Then Jack made a “Don’t move” sign. I looked to the side of me and what I saw took my breath away. It was a dolphin. I looked at the dolphin. The dolphin looked at me. I was so stunned, I started to sink down and faint. Then Jack quickly woke me up and we quickly swam back to shore. Juliette said “Wow that was sooo much fun.” Then it was Juliette’s lucky day! Brad kissed her on the lips! How cute! She squealed so loud. Well that’s all for now blog readers I cannot wait to tell you more! Bye!
