MEMORIAL DAY BEACH EVENTS
Great American Beach Party
May 25: Fort Lauderdale Beach at A1A and Las Olas Blvd.
10am-10pm
Free. Two stages will feature live bands performing classic oldies and rock n' roll hits including Riverside Dixieland Band, Across the Universe and headliners Boogie Knights. Vintage automobiles will line up along A1A, for an up close look at 50 hot rods, ragtops and muscle cars. Family activities include bounce houses, face painting, hula-hoop, limbo and Twister contests, water balloon toss, sand castle building competition and an art show of several Fort Lauderdale artists. Topping the night off -- a special screening of Back to the Future will be presented by the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, from 8:30 to 10pm on a larger-than-life screen.
Memorial Day 2013 Beach Bash
May 27: Aruba Beach Cafe, Lauderdale by the Sea
12-6:30pm. Live entertainment with Twocan Blue and Friends featuring The Fabulous Fleetwoods. Dancing in the sand, 3 tropical bars and complimentary pig roast with the purchase of a beverage.

This Memorial Day enjoy a pleasant day at Flamingo Gardens and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary with complimentary games, activities, and entertainment for the young ones- including free pony rides in the gardens from 11am-3pm, Otter John and his animal friends, special Wildlife Encounters, bounce house, a kid's merchandise fair, and more.
