Underwater Report
8am-outside air temp- 71 degrees, warmed to tie the record at 85 degrees. With low humidity and no wind, this was an ideal diving and boating day in South Florida. 79-degree water temp with flat, calm ocean conditions and a very mild south current.

The location of Deerfield Beach is ideal for any boater, as you’re between two ocean access inlets, Hillsboro Inlet to the south and the Boca Inlet to the north. It’s nice to have a choice as the inlets are only a few miles in either direction. Deerfield Beach is the northern most coastal community in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. With no wind, there were flat ocean conditions, making it a “Chamber of Commerce” type of day. As I walked from the Cove Shopping Center in Deerfield Beach along Hillsboro Blvd, timing was perfect to witness a spectacular sight. I was on the east span of the bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway when three red tractor trailer trucks, holding the world-famous Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Clydesdales, complete with a Broward Sheriff’s Motorcycle escort, rumbled eastbound toward the main beach parking lot. Once there, they proceeded to unload the Clydesdales and hitch up the beer wagon complete with Clyde, the Dalmatian dog. They were coming
