For the 18th consecutive year, the City of Wilton Manors will host the largest LGBT pride event in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. Commemorating the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the 2017 Stonewall Parade and Festival draws nearly 40,000 participants from across the U.S.
The parade is easiest the main attraction of the festival. Thousands come out to watch floats and groups as they strut their stuff down Wilton Drive. The parade begins at 4:00 pm and lasts for an hour and a half.
In addition to the stages, The Manor plus four stages on the Drive, and several bar stages, which will be featuring local performers and DJ’s throughout the day, we are pleased to announce iHeartRadio will have two radio stations, 93.9 MIA & Y100 Miami and one TV station, NBC 6 South Florida will be present on the Drive.
With over 100 vendors and exhibitors, and food vendors and trucks, the Festival marketplace is always a fun way to spend the afternoon. Several of the area nonprofits and governmental agencies take part and provide a wide range of information and services to attendees. Stonewall Event & Marketplace opens at 3:00 PM
