The City of Margate’s Fourth of July Celebration is back in full force! Join Our Margate City leaders in the much anticipated yearly Independence Day activities featuring a morning parade, pool party, a live band concert with food trucks, culminating with a magnificent fireworks show. The event is hosted by the City of Margate and the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA).
Featuring: Fourth of July Parade: 9-11:30 a.m. A sea of red, white and blue will parade down Margate Boulevard eastbound from 76th Avenue to State Road 7. Best Overall Float Awards will be given to a private business, non-profit organization, and a Margate family. Calypso Cove Pool Party: 1-5 p.m. The City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department will host a Fourth of July Pool Party featuring a steel drum band at Calypso Cove, the City’s water park located at 6200 Royal Palm Boulevard. Admission to Calypso Cove is $4 for Margate residents and $7 for non-residents.
Fourth of July Extravaganza: 5-9 p.m. Join us for the City’s Fourth of July Extravaganza with food trucks and obstacle courses at the northwest corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. The band, 30Vice, will take the stage at 6 p.m. and the fireworks display will begin promptly at 9 p.m.
