Overview

Meet Betty, Betty, Betty, Betty, and Betty...Betty is rich; Betty is lonely; Betty’s busy working on her truck; Betty wants to talk about love, but Betty needs to hit something. Thinking Cap Theatre’s 7th Season continues with the Southeastern Premiere of COLLECTIVE RAGE: A Play in Five Betties, a timely, pointed, and playful investigation of gender. Not since Eve Ensler has a playwright had such profound (and hilarious!) thoughts to share about women, stereotypes, relationships, and the female anatomy!

Inspired in part by Max Fleischer's iconic, sexualized animation, Betty Boop, COLLECTIVE RAGE presents, explores, and explodes the legacy of female stereotypes that women today have inherited--Don't worry, men will have their moment in September when Thinking Cap Theatre stages Young Jean Lee's acclaimed dramedy, Straight White Men.

WEDNESDAYS, FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS AT 8PM; SUNDAYS AT 5PM; SPECIAL FRIDAY MATINEE 3PM 5/26
