The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale invites pet lovers and fur babies to celebrate the dog days of summer during its fourth annual “Dog Days” event. Benefiting seven local pet organizations, Dog Days features an adoption expo and the Fashion Hounds runway show hosted by NBC6’s Kelly Blanco and Adam Berg. Lovable pooches will wag their tails during the pet adoption expo, with a focus on canine adoptions, featuring several participating organizations including Abandoned Pet Rescue, The Pet Project, United Dog Rescue, Good Karma Pet Rescue, Furever Family Rescue, Humane Society of Broward County and Saving Sage Animal Rescue. Pet-focused vendors will be onsite to exhibit products and services available including Pat Cash Photography, Hunter Pet Store, Middle River Animal Hospital, Auggie’s Doggies, Ruff House, Supermoms of Broward, Canine Assisted Therapy and Michael Murphy Photography. Fashion Hounds will feature a high-energy doggie runway show with coveted prizes awarded to trendy owners and their fashionable furry friends. Registration is $25, which will be collected via cash or check at the event and will benefit the participating pet rescue charity of your choosing.
