For the past year, hundreds of thousands have enjoyed Seasons 52 Chef Elvis Bravo’s engaging cooking demonstrations virtually, as part of Cooking with The Galleria’s free online series. Now, Seasons 52 is offering a limited opportunity to meet Chef Bravo in-person on Saturday, July 31, at 2 p.m., at a special culinary experience to benefit the Heart Gallery of Broward County, a respected nonprofit organization committed to finding loving families for the hardest to place foster children.
Chef Bravo will be cooking a few summer BBQ ideas - quick and craveable recipes that you can whip-up at home including Melon Basil Burrata Salad With Crispy Prosciutto, Signature Blackened Mahi Fish Tacos with Mango Pineapple Salsa and No Bake Lemon Blueberry Icebox Cake.
Through Cooking with The Galleria, Chef Bravo has provided educational and spirited culinary tutorials about how to prepare and serve delicious dishes including Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops, Bone-in, Dry-rubbed Pork Chop, Chilean Sea Bass, Gruyere French Omelette, Maryland Style Lump Crab Cakes, Seafood Paella, Roasted Vegetable Gnocchi, Shrimp and Grits and Carne Asada Fajitas. The Heart Gallery of Broward County will also partner with The Galleria for the return of “Eat Your Heart Out,” Fort Lauderdale’s favorite food and “fun”raiser featuring gourmet creations, fresh libations, celebrity servers, live entertainment and a silent auction. “Eat Your Heart Out” will take place on Thursday, October 7, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at The Galleria. Tickets are $150 per person and include complimentary valet parking. Tickets are on sale, now, at www.heartgalleryofbroward.org.
The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale is currently open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. It continues to institute additional safety measures complying with government guidelines.
Seasons 52, The Capital Grille, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants and P.F. Chang’s are offering full-service dining and take-out. Blue Martini is open, as well.
