"Born and raised in Maturin, Venezuela, Victor Valdez started singing at the age of 11. He always felt attracted to the big American ballads and pop songs, and at the age of 14, he started playing the piano. He won several singing contests in Venezuela, representing his city nationwide on many occasions. In 2013, he participated in a National TV singing contest, "Talentum", in which he won 3rd place.
Since he arrived in Miami in 2014, he's performed at renowned piano bars in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas, such as The Cabaret South Beach and the legendary Magnum Lounge, mixing comedy with his singing and playing skills in his shows.
He has also made special appearances at major events, such as the Miami Rocks Concert held at the Adrienne Arsht Center, and Golden Sounds of Hollywood, where he performed accompanied by the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
For the past year, Victor is currently a resident performer at Gatsby’s Joint.
