Explore the diverse potentials of natural materials as print matrices in this one-day workshop. We'll start with an aesthetic and textural investigation of Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, where we'll wander, collect, sketch and print directly from found materials. Then we will return to IS Projects to build on our prints using text, simple block-printing and monoprint techniques. No printmaking experience is needed. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring a tote bag, water bottle and sun protection.
** Students will meet at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in front of the Garden Center at 9:30am. There is a cash entrance fee of $6 per car at the park.
