Works of literature are transformed into works of art as a result of, or in response to, the rise of the Internet and the fact that the role of books has dramatically changed in our current information ecology. Whether inspired by books or re-imagined books or deconstructed books, Art Gallery 21 offers a unique, one-of-a-kind exhibit for all ages.
Curated by 6 Hands Collaborative, The Book Project: Speaking Volumes kicks off with an exhibit opening and reception at 7 PM on Saturday, January 18th, followed by four weeks of exhibition offered free to the public. Gallery hours are 12 Noon to 8 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday through February 8th. Free to the public. Paid parking close by.
