The City of Pembroke Pines and The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery are pleased to present Upfront in the Pines. Upfront in The Pines is a rotating educational exhibition series that acknowledges and highlights culture and the humanities on a local, regional, and statewide level.

Upfront in The Pines illuminates the cultural, historical, and traditional aspects that contribute to the vibrant societal tapestry of our day-to-day lives.

Join them as they kick off this initiative by celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month! This edition of Upfront in The Pines will remain on view until October 31st.

This edition of Upfront in the Pines was made possible through a partnership with Florida Memory. Florida Memory is a digital outreach program providing free online access to selected archival resources from collections of the State Archives of Florida.
