Florida Renaissance Festival

Don your finest threads and take a step back in time at the 32nd Annual Florida Renaissance Festival. Join festival-goers every Saturday and Sunday at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach from February 3 to March 24, 2024. This year’s event will run for eight consecutive themed weekends, promising a captivating look inside a bygone era where knights, jesters, and royalty reigned supreme.

While costumes aren’t required, thousands of visitors choose to immerse themselves in the historical period by wearing puffed-sleeved shirts, tunics, aprons, laced gowns, broad-brimmed hats, stockings, and other period-specific garb. 

This one-of-a-kind festival promises family-friendly fun for everyone under the sun!

What to Expect
 

Renaissance Festival

At the Florida Renaissance Festival, you’re invited to step into a world of adventure where history and myths collide.

Browse through an enchanted artisan market, where over 100 merchants demonstrate and sell their wares. Applaud hundreds of performers, including comedians, dancers, magicians, wenches, sword fighters, and more! Toast to the royal court with a tankard of ale at the Biergarten. Revel in the high-energy music of Pirates Creed or the Irish rock stylings of Jackdaws Trio. Feel the rush of a live-action stunt show, combining trick riding, vaulting, chariot racing, and other death-defying stunts. Cheer for heroic knights during an exciting jousting match. Feast on a cornucopia of food fit for a king or queen! Play games of chance or skill, like ax throwing or archery. Get lost in a haunted graveyard or take to the sky in the Knight’s Flight Zipline. With so much to see and do, you’ll want to come back weekend after weekend. Huzzah!

Cauldron of Chaos: The Rise of the Wizards

Feb. 3 - 4

Embark on a magical journey between good and evil. Wizards and Mages of Light assemble to protect the Free Realm in a fierce battle against sorcerers, enchantresses, witches, and warlocks who use wild and ancient magic from the Cauldron of Chaos. A time of conflict is approaching, so prepare your force fields to break spells, defend allies, and heed the call of the Great Sage. 

 

Star-Crossed Lovers: Romance and Love Letters

Feb. 10 - 11

Upon stepping through the castle gates, venture into a world where you can experience the power and warmth of something truly unconditional. This love is written in heartfelt letters across time, echoed through generations, and felt throughout the universe. It’s the power of life and the force of connection. Be present in these precious moments and rediscover a deeper meaning of love, as it’s beautifully written in the stars.

Odin’s Wrath: Vikings, Dragons, and Trolls…. Oh My! 

Feb. 17 - 18

Known to shake the cosmos when unleashing his infamous anger, Odin’s wrath unintentionally ignited the emergence of once-fabled creatures. Elves shared their wisdom, dwarves crafted wonders, and goblins, pixies, and fairies added enhancement to the natural world. Dragons soared majestically across the skies, while trolls and frost giants found common ground with the inhabitants of Midgard. The dawn of an era where the mystical and the ordinary coexisted in perfect balance.

Steampunk & Time Travelers: The Spirit of Invention

Feb. 24 - 25

Engineers and technologists create innovative gadgets and mechanisms to propel us to the modern day. Travelers invented portals that can bring anyone in from another space and time. Anything is possible, and you can only find it here.

Lord of the Ring: A Battle Royale

March. 2 - 3

Grab your mead, raise your turkey leg, and let your “Huzzahs” be heard across the fields until the final strike! Cheer for your warrior and house while bearing witness to the live steel combat until the last knight is standing.

March. 9 - 10

These daring rogues of the open ocean are the stuff of legend, with their tattered sails billowing in the salty breeze and their Jolly Roger flags proudly flying. They’re the masters of hidden treasure maps, expert sword fighters, and lovers of rum and adventure. With a twinkle in their eye and a mischievous grin, they roam the seven seas in search of plunder and glory.

Shamrocks & Shillelaghs: A Leprechaun’s Shenanigans

March. 16 - 17

Raise your tankards and sing a tune; it’s time for dance surrounded by merriment and revelry! Amidst the festivities, the mischievous and elusive leprechauns take center stage. Legend has it that if you catch one, they must grant you three wishes. So, keep an eye out for leprechauns, and join in celebrations filled with parades, traditional music, dancing, and a good dose of Irish luck.

Into the Woods: A Fairytale Finale

March. 23 - 24

In a mystical realm where the boundaries between worlds dissolve, a multi-dimensional adventure awaits. Through the freedom of imagination, the chains of reality loosen, allowing your chronicles to breathe and come to life. This is the opportunity to express the story you’ve always wanted to tell.

Can’t pick just one weekend? Snag a seasonal pass. Special seasonal passes are available for $160 (adults) and $70 (children). 

If you’d rather opt for a single day of play, daily entry is $32 for adults and $14 for children (ages 6 to 11 - free entry during opening weekend), with children five and younger entering for free. Plus, during opening weekend, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts (ages 18 and under) will receive free entry while wearing their uniform or troop t-shirt. Everyone is required to pay the $1.50 Broward Parks entrance fee at the festival’s box office.
