The City of Fort Lauderdale is once again hosting its Fort Lauderdale Orange Bowl Downtown Countdown from 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. in Huizenga Park. The whole family can enjoy food trucks, vendors, live music, and of course, the dropping of the lit-up anchor at midnight.

Welcome 2024 on the banks of the New River with the Captain’s Ball at The Wharf Fort Lauderdale, where there’ll be live music, drinks, and food by Knotty Burgers, The Piefather, Crème de la Crêpe, and Los Altos Taqueria.

On Fort Lauderdale beach, B Ocean Resort is hosting its Diamonds & Martinis New Year's Eve Extravaganza with a dinner buffet planned by Chef David Morales, dancers, live DJ, and a champagne toast with fireworks at midnight. Upgrade to B VIP for endless bubbles all night.

Conrad Fort LauderdaleAlso on the beach, the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach is set to host a lavish New Year’s Eve Champagne Soiree. This vibrant celebration will feature a dynamic blend of music from a live DJ and a violinist, adding a touch of elegance to the evening. Guests can enjoy interactive fun with a 360-degree photo booth, savor complimentary champagne, and delight in an array of food stations offering a variety of bites. Riverside Hotel

The historic Riverside Hotel is hosting the New Year's Eve 2024 Count Down Extravaganza with food, open premium bar, live DJ, prizes, and the dazzling lights of Las Olas Boulevard to welcome the New Year.

If you have a little one who is surely going to fall asleep before the clock strikes midnight, bring them to the Museum of Discovery and Science for some noon-time fun. Children can welcome 2024 with a ball drop at Noon, fit with music, dancing, activities, and adding your resolution to the gallery wall. Babies celebrating their first New Year’s Eve are invited to a Baby’s First New Year event from 10 a.m. to Noon with a commemorative photo booth as well as fun at the Early Childhood Learning Lab.

If the kids are able to stay up a little later, Tarpon River Brewing is dropping the ball at 8 p.m. for its Babies + Ballers party for the whole family. The brewery will be offering a children’s menu with dessert and activities the kids will love.

Hallandale Beach

Watch the carousel spin along with the ball drop at the Carousel Club in Gulfstream Park. Enjoy cocktails, entertainment, and food by Los Altos Taqueria, K-Bop, and Spris Artisan Pizza, and take it to the next level by reserving a table for your crew.

Hollywood

Get ready to dance the night away at DAER Nightclub inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Hollywood, with a whole New Year’s weekend planned. Oliver Heldens performs December 29, Nora En Pure on December 30, and renowned DJ Afrojack will be spinning tunes with a three-hour open bar to countdown the New Year on December 31.

Plantation

Usher in the New Year with some laughs by comedian Nate Bargatze at the Amerant Bank Arena. On the heels of his SNL appearance, he’ll be joined by Joe Zimmerman, Mike Vecchione, Greg Warren and Stephen Bargatze.
