The Bienes Center for the Arts is a state-of-the-art black box theater and performance center in Fort Lauderdale. Located on the campus of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and convenient to major thoroughfares, the Bienes Center for the Arts features flexible staging configurations for performing arts and concert events to accommodate up to 300 attendees. The Center was founded to bring the performing, practical and visual arts to the youth of the community and, at the same time, to support those projects not possible under the constraints of larger performance venues. The venue also hosts local and national performances and master classes for students. Since opening in 2009 some notable events have featured Idina Menzel, Danny Aiello, Paula Deen, Pilobolus, The Platters, Phantom of the Opera, Tito Puente Jr., The Capitol Steps and more!
