Take a leisurely, guided bicycle ride along the New River, Fort Lauderdale's first highway. You'll visit Cooley's Landing - site of the Cooley Massacre, the Sailboat Bend historic district and the only remaining swing bridge in Florida. This tour includes bike rental, admission to the Fort Lauderdale History Museum and the Pioneer House Museum. The tour will take 2 hours with approximately 3 miles of biking. Daily at 11am, $49 per adult, $29 per child.

  • Description The New River Inn was the first working hotel in Fort Lauderdale. This 1905 historic southern plantation is located on the banks of the New River. Indoor space includes the Inn dining room and the downstairs parlor. A full IT package with screen is installed in the dining room with ability to simulcast to parlor. The New River Inn is part of a 6 building historic campus. Outdoor space can accommodate up to 250.
