Greater Fort Lauderdale is proud to be the featured destination in the upcoming episode of ABC’s The Bachelor. The two-hour episode will feature sunny locations throughout Broward County as the next setting for the remaining women to continue their romance with the newest Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr.  This episode of The Bachelor, currently celebrating its 22nd season, is scheduled to air on Monday, January 29, 2018, at 8/7c, on ABC.

“We are absolutely thrilled to share our cosmopolitan and vibrant destination,” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Thanks to the participation of our tourism community and partnership with the show, America will be taken on a romantic journey through the Venice of America.”

Six years ago, Arie Luyendyk Jr. was in love and a day away from proposing to the woman of his dreams. And then, she broke his heart. After a tearful exit on Emily Maynard’s (now Emily Maynard Johnson) season of ABC’s The Bachelorette, Arie stepped away from the spotlight of Bachelor Nation, retired from his career as an accomplished Formula 1 racer, and shifted gears to become a successful real estate broker in Scottsdale, Arizona. Even though he has been away from Bachelor Nation, America hasn’t forgotten Arie’s rugged good looks and charm. Now Arie, 36, is back and ready to race into America’s heart yet again when he returns for a second shot at love, starring in the 22nd season of ABC’s hit romance reality series The Bachelor, returning to ABC, Mondays 8:00pm, ET/PT.
