The Broward Office of Film and Entertainment, a division of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, was honored by the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) with three First Place Marketing awards. The first place awards were in the categories of Logo for its official logo and the Underground Lauderdale program logo; Direct Marketing Piece for the Greater Fort Lauderdale film marketing materials kit; and Print Advertising Series created by Starmark International. The Film Office received two Second Place awards for Specialty Item for the Underground Lauderdale branded iPad case and Digital Advertising by Starmark.
The 2013 AFCI Marketing Awards recognize a wide variety of print and digital marketing products from film commission members and judged by a cross-section of industry and marketing judges. The categories span from apparel and logos, to advertising and marketing pieces to production guides and websites.

The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) is the official professional organization for film commissioners who assist film, television, and video production across the globe. The AFCI is a non-profit educational association with more than 300 members representing city, county, state, regional, provincial, or national film commissioners in their respective governmental jurisdictions.
