A Message from Stacy J. Ritter…
I am incredibly excited to be the new President of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau.
As many of you know, I served as a Broward County Commissioner from November 2006 until June 2016, representing the 3rd District, and serving as Mayor of that board in 2008. In that role, I connected with many organizations within Broward County to build relationships, collaborate on events and create awareness and understanding on the importance of tourism in Greater Fort Lauderdale. During that time, I also had the pleasure of serving as Chair on the Broward County Tourist Development Council and getting to know the local hospitality industry.
Greater Fort Lauderdale’s tourism has a very bright future and I am honored to serve in a leadership role to make certain we are taking the destination’s brand and awareness to the next levels of success. I encourage you to expand your involvement with the CVB. There are numerous opportunities, tools and resources we offer to help your business grow and thrive. We are here to help -- let us know how we can improve our communication with you and ways we can support your own promotion of Greater Fort Lauderdale. A rising tide DOES lift all ships and your help is needed in making certain each and every one of your guests looks forward to coming to Greater Fort Lauderdale and leaves satisfied and eager to tell their friends and family about us. Also, don’t forget to join us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @VisitLauderdale #HelloSunny.
I am inspired every day by the people who make this destination a creative, innovative, and fabulous area to live, work and play. I look forward to working with each and every one of you.
