BRINGING LUXE TO THE BIG APPLE
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with Finn Partners, brought the Lauderdale LUXE Experience to New York City last month, creating a lavish beach oasis at The Shops at Columbus Circle. Shoppers indulged in complimentary massages by Celebrity Cruises, makeovers, giveaways and special offers, designed to showcase the destination’s vast luxury offerings, from hotels to fashion to spas. The event kicked off with a fashion runway show, hosted by style expert, tastemaker, TV host, and founder of The LV Guide, Lilliana Vazquez. The excitement continued with the opportunity to transport shoppers to the beach through an interactive augmented reality experience. Visitors also entered for a chance to win a grand prize of a VIP Fort Lauderdale Beach Vacation and a seven-day Celebrity Cruise, provided by Celebrity Cruises. Additionally, popular CBS Radio personalities Trey Morgan and Ghia from the “Trey and Ghia Show” on FRESH 102.7, participated in one of the Saturday afternoon fashion shows. Nicki E. Grossman also hosted a media luncheon at Chef Marc Murphy’s LandMarc Restaurant. Click here to see the photo album.
