GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU LAUNCHES ORIGINAL FOODIE SERIES “CRAVE GFL” ON HELLO SUNNY TV NETWORK
GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Oct. 23, 2017) — Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB) has launched its original foodie series “Crave GFL” on Hello Sunny TV network. The new TV series is hosted by Blue Arauz, community manager for Yelp Broward-Palm Beach. Viewers can watch new episodes on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. ET at sunny.org/tv and can also watch on demand.
“Greater Fort Lauderdale has an extraordinary culinary scene, and we are so excited to showcase our eclectic mix of foods, growing brewery scene, and top chefs putting creative twists to their dishes,” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. “We have so many restaurants to offer and discover, and I know that residents and visitors will find Crave GFL entertaining and informative.”
Arauz takes viewers on behind-the-scenes tours of some of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s most sought after restaurants, bars and breweries. He also interacts with chefs and tastes mouthwatering dishes and delectable drinks.
“Crave GFL is a great way for viewers to get a flavor of our local cuisine,” said Blue Arauz, host of Crave GFL. “I’m excited to help uncover lesser known, yet incredible spots and emerging restaurants, as well as rediscover well-known staples.”
Episodes available on demand to date feature Funky Buddha Brewery and Colada Cuban Coffee House and Eatery and Fire.
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau launched the 24/7 digital TV network, Hello Sunny TV, in December 2016. Hello Sunny streams live events and features original programming showcasing the food, entertainment, arts and culture, sports, people and personalities of the destination. This year the Bureau received two Gold “Henry” Awards for Hello Sunny TV in the Resource/Promotional Material category as well as for Best in Show.
