What’s new about Restaurant Month?
BIG NEWS! We’re extending the dates of Restaurant Month throughout August and September, which means more time to promote those special dining deals and draw more visitors to your location.
There is no sign-up fee to participate. Yes, that means you can reap all the benefits of our strategic Restaurant Month marketing campaign without paying a dime out of your own budget. All we need is (2) $100 gift certificates from each participating restaurant.
What do you get from the GFLCVB if you participate in Restaurant Month?
What does the GFLCVB need from participating restaurants?
We need your photos. Send us hi-res images of your restaurant, food and chef, so we can promote your brand on our website and channels, as well as the highly competitive advertising and public relations campaigns that we will be executing on your behalf. We just need (2) 100 gift certificates to confirm participation.
Do you have to offer a certain price point on offers?
This year we are suggesting that you offer two deals: one $35 option and one $45 option.
Do you have to offer the dining deal every day of the week?
No. You dictate what your offer is and when you are making it available. However, we highly suggest that you create offers that are available Sunday through Friday, at a minimum. It’s even better for the visitor, if you offer a dining special on Saturday.
Do you have to send the GFLCVB details about the special offer?
No. This year, we will be linking to your site instead of publishing all the details on our own site. This means more web traffic for your brand and you maintain control over the offers themselves. However, we will be creating an article on our website detailing some of the great dining deals. So, if you’d like to be included in the editorial, please send us your menu.
