What’s new about Spa Month?
BIG NEWS! We’re extending the dates of Spa Month throughout August and September, which means more time to promote those special spa deals and draw more visitors to your location.
And there is NO sign-up fee to participate. Yes, that means you can reap all the benefits of our strategic Spa Month marketing campaign without paying a dime out of your own budget. All we need is two ($99) gift certificates from each participating spa. (Spas that have already made payment will be reimbursed).
What do you get from the GFLCVB if you participate in Spa Month?
What does the GFLCVB need from participating spas?
We need your photos. Send us hi-res images, so we can promote your spa on our website and channels, as well as the highly competitive advertising and public relations campaigns that we will be executing on your behalf. And don’t forget: we need two, single-treatment gift certificates to confirm participation.
Do you have to offer a certain price point on treatments?
No. All spa offers are completely up to the partner. We highly suggest offering at least one $99 treatment option.
Do you have to offer the spa deal every day of the week?
No. You dictate what your offer is and when you are making it available. However, we highly suggest that you create offers that are available Sunday through Friday, at a minimum. It’s even better for the visitor, if you offer a special on Saturday.
Do I have to keep the offer open for a full two months? No, you are free to decide how long you want your offer to run. To encourage repeat visits, we recommend changing up your offer as an enticement to return. But it’s totally up to you!
Do you have to send the GFLCVB details about the special offer?
No. This year, we will be linking to your site instead of publishing all the details on our own site. This means more web traffic for your brand and you maintain control over the offers themselves.
What is the deadline to sign up?
July 1, 2019
Who do I talk to if I have additional questions?
Contact Kara Franker, our new Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. She is excited to hear from you and to plan more strategic programs where we can partner together to promote our great destination!
