A great love of collecting art of our time is shown in the private holdings of local Fort Lauderdale residents and patrons of the burgeoning arts scene in Greater Fort Lauderdale: Gordon Locksley , Francie Bishop Good and David Horvitz. All three individuals are tireless collectors passionately engaged in the contemporary art scene.  The Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale brings together over 100 selected works from these two collections for this exhibition.

The adventure begins inside the museum and continues on the beach where your expert guides will lead you to the nesting grounds. Watching a 400-pound Loggerhead sea turtle venture out of the ocean to lay her eggs is a natural wonder that your family will never forget. Be prepared to walk one to two miles. You will need to provide your own transportation and snacks.  Advance reservations are required.  Turtle Walk Dates: June 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 23, 24, 25, 30; July 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15.
